Nevada > Cali
We got an early start today. After the big snow yesterday Sky Express (the lift that goes all the way to the top of the mountain) was finally open. However it only had one run open off of it (that followed the ridge), and was crowded and rather rocky. Needless to say, after hitting rocks and some moguls (on a black) we decided that the California side is lame and headed back over to the tried and true goodness of the Nevada side of the mountain. And, of course, being on the Nevada side we spent all our time in the terrain park and the complimentary jumps further down the run (which was also overcrowded... darn civilization). After about 5ish hours of that we were completely tired and headed to taco bell. Overall no major injuries, just a few bruises.

Snow!
We made yesterday a fairly short day. Our legs were starting to tell us we've been on the mountain too much. It was also a bit crowded, especially around the terrain park (as its the only one open). The weather yesterday was excellent for visibility, allowing great views of the lake from the gondola (might try to get a picture or two up here soon). However the ever persistent wind made it less enjoyable than it could have been. Good news for today though! Heavenly got between 6-9 inches last night, with current snowfall coming down at a rate of about 2 inches per hour. We're thinking of taking today off, relaxing, recuperating, chilling in the hot tub, etc. Then tomorrow we'll hit the mountain early and hard.

First Day
We hit the slopes at around 10, which ended up being ok but the conditions weren't the best. However it looks good for tomorrow as they are calling for around a foot of new snow. The mountain is huge, we only got to see a small part of it today, hopefully hit the other side tomorrow. Hopefully get some pictures up soon. I forgot the cable for my camera so we're going to have to figure something out there. No injuries yet!
